They also informed us that young children do not require professional portfolios like the older kids. Young children change to quickly and portfolios are very costly. Also, when purchasing professional services from any company, always make sure you obtain a written contract, which will clearly outline the services to be performed. Use caution when doing business with any company that doesn’t freely provide a written contract (agreement) for its services. This industry is an exciting one, but understand there’s no guarantees of success. Just go into it with a positive attitude and have fun with it. These companies will not work with the youngsters directly, as we learned. Fame Under Five came to the rescue with Taylor!
Oh, to add, young kids do NOT need those professional portfolios. Fame under five works with shots we take at home. Anyone who says you do need them is full of baloney.

Fame Under Five is business that helps parents with children under the age of 5 get into the modeling industry. They actively and aggressively markets your child to talent agencies. This agency knows the ins and outs of the industry and they are there to do what a new and unknowing parent doesn’t know to do.
I decided to try and get my daughter into modeling, to see if it were even possible. I really didn’t know what I needed to do or how to go about it so I researched companies and agencies online. Apparently agencies do not deal with “new” uniformed customers with children under the age of 5. After doing all my research I signed up with Fame Under Five to help me with trying to get my 6month old daughter into the kid modeling industry. This company had a great reputation and I decided to give them a shot. I contacted them with the appropriate required information and passed their initial screenings. Then an agent called me and after all of my questions were answered and an explanation of what would happen I decided to give them a try. Taylor is my personal contact and he has been awesome. My daughter even had an agency interested in her before we really got the ball rolling! I really look forward to see where everything is going to go!

Quick review. I have 3 kiddos. Lol. Signed my daughter up last year. She was 8 months old. So far, been very happy. We go on about 3 auditions per month and we really have a blast. The staff is fame under five has been great. I have worked with sandy and taylor, who really have been godsends to our family. It also made made feel VERY SECURE with the fact they’re part of Pay pal. There’s a lot to know about this baby biz, it’s not as easy as some newbie parents may think. We learned very quickly that agencies do not work with the little ones one on one. There’s too much back and forth, and there’s legal requirements, which vary state by state. fame under five assists us with all of this. They’ve been wonderful. I get replies from taylor almost immediately when i have a question or an issue, even in the middle of the night. Lol. not sure when he sleeps. kayla has done 1 major print job and made a great deal of money. this was great for her college fund. fame under five takes no commission whatsoever but, whatever agent or manager gets you the job does take a percentage off the top. they refer you to agencies or managers that allow you to work with other companies. i think it’s called not-exclusive. Never work with an agent or manager that wont let you work with other people. that’s not the norm i found out. if that happens report them to fame under five. they will not work with them anymore. fame under five kinda watches over you and keeps you away from the scummy companies you don’t want your cutie working with. that’s why i love having taylor and sandy! they walk us through the entire process. also thank you to susan at fame under five also. she’s helped a lot too. everyone at fame under five is well appreciated. you guys get an 10 rating from us! love you guys! keep us the great work. fame under five rocks!!!!

Fame Under Five is like our ‘middle man’ to the modeling agencies and agents out there that otherwise don’t work with parents of young children that aren’t 1st screened. So they do the ‘screening process’, which was simple.
If you pass their screening process, I do suggest you open up your PayPal account right away, like they suggest (if you don’t have one). Makes things much smoother! It has so far been exciting and fun!
So we submitted our son’s photos through their website, we were contacted through email and answered some questions, after that screening process was done and we were assigned our very own Talent Scout : ) Ours is Taylor, and he has been fabulous…straight-forward, friendly and professional! He even had an agency that was ready to work with us…super exciting!! He is very prompt in getting back with us and let us know from the beginning he would be there with any Newcomer Parent questions we might have or suggestions!!

Hello parents! We found this review site and that we would drop a quick line. we became part of fame under five last year for our son Bobby. Our results and review on this:
1) They connected us with 3 great agencies and a personal management company. They’ve been very professional.
2) Most of our communications are with our fame under five rep Lisa. She has been amazing. Exceeded our expectations in reference to customer service. Without her assistance, this would never of worked.
3) We go on about 3 auditions monthly. There fun and easy. many are right on line; can’t get easier than that! These agencies, because of being on line, get us opportunities outside of Texas as well, which is wonderful. We recently met with an agency in NYC from our home! Very cool.
4) One booking so far; a TV spot. was very exciting working on the set! we were treated like stars! What an experience. There was even a state social worker there to make sure our son was treated correctly. it was amazing. We never knew it was so regulated. Wow!
Our experience overall was FANTASTIC! They never promised us ANYTHING but opportunity, which is one of the reasons why we signed with Fame Under Five! Lisa told us the pros and cons of the “business” without any, you know, BS.
She has replied promptly to any questions we throw at her! It helps that you used to be in the industry herself so she can share her experiences with us. It’s great!
To clarify, all agencies use middleman when dealing with young kids and new parents. Fame Under Five connects you with professional hard working people, that work hard for you.
We highly recommend them.
Have fun pursuing your dreams!
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH LISA!!!!!!
xoxo,
Darlene and Josh and little “Bobby”

Carter family in Sugarland, TX.- we’re with fame under five- love these guys!
signed up a while ago. we were very skeptical of this industry because we had no clue how this worked.
We knew there were lots of cute kids out there but kids do earn a lot of money in the modeling acting business.
so, we wanted to give this a try. Well, we went to a local place here in Texas. They wanted thousands for professional pictures of our son to send out in the mail. They were called Interface.
I remembered a friend of mine used to know someone in los angeles that was a talent agent. She didn’t work with babies but new the industry well enough and could find out.
It is correct that agencies will not deal with very young kids because it’s too much work dealing with the parents. Lol.
They go through this type of service. The agent in Los Angeles was actually the one who gave my friend the name of Fame Under Five. She said there they only place that deals with little babies.
That’s how we found them. They don’t advertise. Since then, they have connected us with 3 great agencies and 2 personal managers.
We get auditions all the time- and have had 2 bookings, which is normal. You’re always gonna get more auditions than bookings parents, you must be realistic with this.
We’ve already set up a nice bank account for his future.
I probably ask Fame Under Five about 15 to 20 questions a month.
I received replies back very promptly and there always very detailed in what they say.
I have nothing negative to say at all. They’ve been very helpful and provided an excellent service.
I love that my rep actually checks my photos every month to make sure I’m submitting the perfect shots of my son.
It’s like having an expert there right with you making sure you, as a new parent, doesn’t do anything dumb.
There are a lot of scams out there on line in every business.
It’s great to have the great crew at Fame Under Five on our side.
We would highly recommend them to any parents starting out.
They do a lot of screening, they ask a lot of questions, which my husband and I actually loved.
It showed us they don’t take anyone. They very selective, which we understand.
There’s a lot of parents doing this for the wrong reasons, usually money or ego driven.
They get rid of those parents.
What’s funny is that I sent my friend to them who had 3 kids. Fame Under Five did not accept ANY of them. It shows they mean business.
Good luck mommies…
Lisa D.-Miami, FL. for my baby Sophia.
i have been registered with fame under 5 since january of last year. my daughter is sophia and i had no idea how to get her started in the business. everywhere i went locally wanted a ton for portfolios and comp cards and head shots and it just didn’t make sense because any mom knows babies change so much, so quickly. let’s just say i was very discouraged. a friend then referred me to the fame under five site. she did say a friend referred her and her friend said only very positive things about the company. so i submitted a picture. they did reply and asked a lot of questions, which i loved, that said to me they didn’t take anyone who sent in a picture of their cute kid. they asked for another picture of our family which was another positive as that said to us they don’t want to deal with sketchy parents trying to get rich off their kid. we all know there’s a lot of parents out there trying to make a living off their kid. to make a long story short, we’ve been with them quite some time now. i absolutely love my reps, which are mr. taylor and his assistants, john and steph. they have been there the entire time, always answering my many, sometimes stupid probably, questions. lol, hee hee. we have about 3 auditions a month. we booked 1 commercial and 1 print ad for a children’s clothing line. it’s been great. we would not of done this without fame under five. they have referred up to top agencies. this world can be very dangerous. you never know who’s legit and who’s not. they get us with the right companies and keep us away from the questionable companies or, even worse, child predators. what we didn’t realize when we started this adventure was that real agencies and managers will not handle the little babies. don’t waste your time trying, we did. spent a lot of time and money for nothing. it’s just too much work and we NOW understand why they use a middleman company. we have asked fame under five so many questions. we actually almost lost a booking because of a work permit issue, MY fault. thank the lord we texted mr taylor in the middle of the night and he actually replied. talk about great customer service. in the end we GOT the booking! It was very exciting!!!! in this tough economy, we thank god they we now have a nice amount of money already put away for our daughter and we’ve met amazing people. that’s very cool. we thank the people at fame under five for getting us started. so many parents spend so much time and money trying to do this and spending so much money on portfolios. it’s just not needed. fame under five uses regular snapshots we shoot monthly from home. we have a blast doing them! then, we simply upload them to her webpage, created by fame under five. only legit companies have access to it. good luck parents in pursuing this for your little darlings! Don’t let anyone tell you to buy a portfolio. waste! fame under five will guide you; they’re the best. Have a blessed day! Lisa
Kristin- Houston, TX.
We had a pretty negative experience with another similar company and wish we had found Fame Under Five first and not wasted our time with this other company. The other company wanted us to spend lots of money on getting expensive composite sheets for both of our girls which would have cost us close to $4,000. I love that Fame Under Five works with the good photos we have already for our children and by helping to set us up on video interviews. Kids are changing so much so fast that spending a lot of money on professional photos early on just doesn’t make sense.
We submitted our twins to Fame Under Five and they only chose one of our girls, so that was a little hard, but we can resubmit her again in a year. So for now we have decided to just focus on our one daughter they are interested in.
It’s only been a couple of weeks and we have already been in touch with one agent and have been offered an interview.
We really enjoyed talking with Taylor, too. He helps make the whole process even more fun than it is already.
And, lastly, their fees are very reasonable. Just one fee for 5 years.
